Similar to other drag command, start from key 123/ABC and drag in the direction indicated by the icon.
For Cut drag up left, for Copy drag up, for Paste drag down, and for Select All draw a circle!
To prevent accidental deletion of your text, Cut only works if you have selected some text.
You can select a portion of your text by tapping on the text itself and then using MessagEase's cursor_control_string (See cursor_control_string under how_to_string). You can also select the entire text by drawing a circle, starting on the key 123/ABC for Select All.
Issuing a Copy command will copy the selected text to the clipboard. If no text is selected, the entire text is copied to the clipboard.
Please note: to safeguard that you do not lose text by accidentally invoking Select All and then entering a character to replace it, each time Select All is issued, the entire selected text is saved in a special buffer.
MessagEase's Multi-String Clipboard:
MessagEase automatically saves and remembers the last ten pieces of text that you copy or cut. These texts are available for you to retrieve and paste by issuing a drag-and-return o on Paste command. You can also use this command to selectively erase these pieces of text that are stored on MessagEase's clipboard.
Please note the Android does not provide any Undo.
